The Abdullah bin Masoud Center for Quran Memorization was established in 1399 AH (1979 CE) by the esteemed Sheikh Abdul Halim Mahmoud Al-Qari (may God preserve him). It received its license from the Ministry of Islamic Affairs/Department of Quran Memorization Centers. The center aims to teach and memorize the Holy Quran to Muslim children, instilling in them its rulings, etiquette, and morals. The center serves the residents of Al-Hidd (may God preserve it), and currently has more than 30 Quran memorization circles distributed across several areas, including: - Main Center: Ali bin Jabr Al Thani Mosque - Circles at Jabr Al-Muslim Mosque - Circles at Al-Hamd Mosque - Circles at Wadad Al-Muftah Mosque - Circles at Aqab Mosque - Circles at Al-Sabah Mosque - Circles at Urwah bin Al-Zubair Mosque. The center also operates a girls' branch under the name Abdullah bin Masoud Center for Quran Memorization, Women's Branch, in North Al-Hidd. Recently, a department for training Quran memorizers and teachers was established within the center, serving Quran memorizers and teachers throughout the Kingdom.
